Dr. Garland Chow is the Director of the Bureau of Intelligent Transportation Systems and Freight Security and Associate Professor, Operations and Logistics Division, at the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia. Dr. Chow writes and teaches in the fields of supply chain, business logistics and freight transport management, is a frequent speaker before professional associations and executive programs and provided consulting advice to both government and the private sector. He is an active participant in the Purchasing Management Association of Canada and is a current member of the National Board of Directors. Dr. Chow's logistics research interests include transportation collaboration, modelling the outsourcing decision for TPLs and logistics strategy for multinationals entering China. He co-authored “The Transportation and Warehousing Challenge for Multi-National Corporations in China”. Dr. Chow earned his BS and MBA degrees from the University of Maryland and doctorate from Indiana University.

Kamel A. Fantazy received his PhD in Operations Management from the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. He is a Postdoctoral Fellow and a Research Associate at the Research Center for Technology Management at the Sprott School of Business. His research interests include supply chain management, improving performance of production and operation systems, international technology transfer and e-business. He has 14 yeas of industrial experience in various managerial positions. He has several research papers and he was the recipient of the Best Research Paper Award in the POM division at the ASAC conference held in Halifax, Canada, 2008.

Péter Földesi PhD was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1962. He graduated at Technical University of Budapest Hungary (TUB) as transport engineer in 1986, and obtained PhD degree at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 1994. He worked for a large international haulage company as marketing consultant in 1990, than he joined the academic staff of TUB. In 1995 he moved to Győr (Hungary) and took position at the Széchenyi István University, at the Department of Logistics and Forwarding, where he was promoted to head of department in 2007. He is also responsible for the industrial relations of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, as the Vice-Dean of fundraising.

Ford’s vision is to provide sustainable transportation that is affordable in every sense of the word: socially, environmentally and economically. Mr. Dan Georgescu currently works in Global Purchasing for Ford Motor Company. He is in charge of supplier development for the over 600 suppliers of the Oakville Assembly Complex. He is a member of the Accreditation Review Panel of the National Accreditation Program of the Canadian Sector Council for Supply Chain (CSCSC); he is a senior educational consultant for the Purchasing Managers Association of Canada, and he serves as a member of the Engineering Programs Advisory Committee at Sheridan College. He teaches in the Supply Chain Management at Humber College, and in the Manufacturing Management Program at Sheridan College. He graduated with the Gold Medal for Academic Excellence from the Wifrid Laurier MBA program in 2006. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Engineering and he is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a Professional Engineer. He published "Making Supply Chain Design the Rational Differentiating Characteristic of the OEMs" in the International Journal of Production Research on February 23, 2007. His research interests are Knowledge Propagation in the Value Chain and Supplier Development as a Sustainable Competitive Advantage.

M.Y. Jaber is a professor of Industrial Engineering at Ryerson University. He obtained his PhD in Manufacturing and Operations Management from the University of Nottingham. His research interests include modelling learning and forgetting processes and their applications, inventory management in supply chains and reverse logistics, and thermodynamic analysis of production and inventory systems. He has published more than 100 articles in internationally reputable journals and conference proceedings. He is the editor of the book “Inventory Management: Non-Classical Views” and the forthcoming one “Learning Curves: Theory and Modern Applications”, both with CRC Press. His industrial experience is in construction management. He is a member of several professional societies.

Mr. Keramati is currently working towards a PhD at Brunel University, taking a special interest in integration of supply chain management and simulation modelling by systems dynamics. He has completed an MBA through meeting the necessary requirements from the TASMAC London School of Business and the University of Shahid Beheshti in Iran. He also pursued some modules of a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Herriot Watt. These programs allowed for him detailed understanding of research methods to define and evaluate strategies necessary in many areas of business.
Most of Amir's professional experience has been developed through his role as a senior foreign procurement officer at Iran Khodro Company, a sister company and partner to France’s Peugeot in Iran. Nick Little is Assistant Director of Executive Development Programs and The Global Procurement and Supply Chain Benchmarking Initiative of the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management at Michigan State University. Immediately prior to that time, he performed the role of Industry Executive on Loan to the Benchmarking Initiative from his previous employer The Post Office (United Kingdom). Nick was with them for almost 10 years. During that time, he worked at regional, business unit and national levels throughout their purchasing and supply organization. His last post was as Strategy and Projects Director for Post Office Purchasing+Logistics Services, a business unit incorporating nationwide corporate purchasing, warehousing and distribution to some 19,000 locations. Nick undertook a complete review of Post Office supply chains (internal and external) reducing annual operating costs by some 25% in two years and achieving a recurrent annual saving for the business exceeding £10 million (approx. $18million).
Throughout his career, Nick has designed, developed and delivered training at managerial and executive levels for purchasing and other operational and administrative staff groups. Nick brings that valuable industry-based expertise to complement the academic strengths of Michigan State University faculty as a key member of our Executive Development Programs group, specializing in customized programs and client relationships.

Steve Mehltretter is a Partner in A.T. Kearney’s North American Process and Energy Industry Practice and is based in the Toronto office. He has over twenty years of experience consulting to many industry leading companies around the globe.

Dr. Steven A. Melnyk is currently professor of Operations Management for the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management at Michigan State University’s Eli Broad School of Business. In addition to being an in-demand consultant and speaker, a contributor to many academic journals and author of several books on SCM, he has also been recognized as one of the 10 Best MBA faculty at MSU by Business Week.
An accomplished researcher, Dr. Melnyk has won many grants which include: the Research Grant Award from the Manufacturing Research Consortium and the National Science foundation Grant in Environmentally Conscious Manufacturing.

Péter Németh PhD was born in Győr, Hungary in 1979. He graduated at the Széchenyi István University in Győr, Hungary as an economist in 2000. He obtained PhD degree in 2009 at the Multidisciplinary Technical Doctoral School at the Széchenyi István University. His PhD Thesis discussed new methods in supply chain performance measurement. He joined the aca-demic staff of the Széchenyi István University in 2004. In 2010 he was promoted to assistant professor.

Maureen O’Higgins has extensive experience in Supply Chain Management in a variety of different organizations spanning private enterprise, government, and charitable organizations. She is an instructor for the PMAC Senior Supply Chain Management Leadership Program, in addition to instructing various seminars. Her interest in sustainability has led to the introduction of many programs in her 10 years at BC Biomedical Laboratories, including an employee-led “Green Team” and a focus on working with employees and suppliers to reduce usage of materials. Avy Punwasee is a Senior Consultant who focuses on Pricing Management and Strategy. He has a wealth of experience in numerous operational areas including channel pricing, competitive realignments, promotional pricing, input cost negotiation and change management. Recently, Avy worked with a leading US consumer packaged goods company to realign there national pricing strategy across 8 global brands. The initiative led to the creation of a streamlined pricing process for the entire brand portfolio and a double digit improvement in profit margins.
Prior to joining Pricing Solutions Limited, Avy was responsible for pricing of the service parts business for a major domestic automotive company. In this capacity he managed over 400,000 SKUs and $700 million of revenue to a diverse customer base.
